Located in the carefully restored & historic Schneider Brothers Building, Lamberts serves up slow smoked BBQ & modern Texas cooking with local beers, classic cocktails and new world wines. Situated in the heart of bustling 2nd Street Lamberts has a fun laid back atmosphere and warm professional service. Our upstairs bar and lounge frequently features live music and is available for special events and parties.

Lamberts was established in 2006 by Larry McGuire, Tom Moorman, Will Bridges, Lou Lambert, and a talented group of Austin friends and investors.

In addition to 2nd St District Valet Parking (located at 2nd & San Antonio), garage parking is available at City Hall & the AMLI building.

Lamberts, the first restaurant in the MML family of restaurants, features award-winning barbecue in the heart of downtown Austin. The second-floor upstairs space features a private bar, stage, and state-of-the-art sound system and is ideal for business meeting retreats, rehearsal dinners, and birthday celebrations. The outdoor patio, flanked by our Mill Scale BBQ smoker, features a mobile bar and retractable roof. The entire restaurant is also available for full buyouts.
